October is a symphony of permanence and change.

Hello October, I’ve been looking forward to you. It’s a new month and that means new challenges and opportunities. Let’s hold on to the things that are going just the way that they are supposed to. But we should gather some guts to change the things we are not so happy about. Change is good. My challenge will be changing my daily rhythm by working out more often. I want to start with working out at least 3-4 times a week. We all can use some help sometimes and the website FITGIRLCODE is like my ‘Holy Bible’ when it comes to getting fit.


Health: Raw Cacao

Today I wanted to talk with you about my favorite superfood: Raw Cacao.

There are so many delicious & healthy recipes that you can create with Raw Cacao. I like to put it in my breakfast oatmeal, to give it a bit more taste, but I also like to make brownies or other bakings with Raw Cacao. You can find one of my favorite Chocolate recipes with the Cacao here. Raw cacao is made by cold-pressing unroasted cocoa beans. The process keeps the living enzymes in the cocoa and removes the fat.


Health: Let’s talk about Roller Skating

Lately I’m trying to visit the gym at least twice a week for a tough work out. During the other days I’m trying to do a work out at home or outside.Spring came early in Holland this year. So I was so lucky to be able to perform my favorite, outside exercise again this week: Roller Skating. What I really like about Roller Skating is the fast movement and that you can perform it outside.


Health: Pampering yourself

Sometimes, in between our busy days, we forget to take care of ourselves. We don’t allow ourselves any time to sit down and relax. Lately, I haven’t been taking good care of myself because I was to busy with other things. I realized that I should create more “Me-time” and pamper myself more often.
